Scope of work
- Removed 12 single compressor condensing units and replaced with one variable speed compressor rack
- Converted all refrigertation to R-507
- Installed separate sensor solenoid controls for all cases and walk-in box evaporator coils
Results
- Customer has realized savings of 437.5 Kwh per day each month on overall energy costs.
- FortaCool's variable speed drives lower power bills because the compressors only run at the speed necessary to match the refrigeration loads and greately reduce demand charges because the compressors are "soft-started"
- Actual Kwh per day comparison between old system and new FortaCool System taken directly from the customer's PG&E bills.
